#DaretoDream is AirAsia's sports initiative to inspire athlete this coming 2017 SEA Games

This August 2017, AirAsia is launching their sports-initiative which aims to motivate and inspire athletes to discover their own potential and make their athletic aspirations a reality.
This campaign is in time for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games or SEA Games 2017 this August 19-30, 2017 to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The campaign is not just for one country, but it is also for everyone to know and discover our hardworking athletes that will compete in this year's game.

#DaretoDream campaign  by AirAsia will transform all their digital channels and social media sites as a source of information about the SEA Games, for AsiaAsia Philippines, they will be launching another web series that will be available for FREE to watch on their Facebook Page. Just like the successful RedTalks with Daphne Osena, this time with the same cinematographer, they will deliver us a web video series content that features 3 top Filipino SEA Games athlete --- 2 time Olympian Jessie Lacuna, 4 time SEA Games Gold Medalist Marestella Torres-Sunang and 6 time UAAP Season's MV Alyssa Valdez.

AirAsia selected these three awesome athletes because they have a story that is interesting to be shared and for the upcoming 2017 SEA Games, they are more ready to win and was selected among others because they are our country's best. All together have the same goal --- to win the gold medal for our country.
According to Philippines AirAsia Brand Manager David Viray - "The #Daretodream initiative is part of AirAsia's continued commitment to grow the local sports scene. Through web video series, we are sharing the hard work and passion that drives our athletes. We also want to gather support for them from every Filipino, we want everyone to watch them compete and cheer for them this year's SEA Games."

In the promotional video released by AirAsia we saw the three athlete's motivation  and an inspiring story, just like the Marestella Torres-Sunang, she revealed on the video that many people judge her because she's old and a mom, her motivation is her son, and she wants to prove to anyone that she is in top shape and can still win in any track and field competition.

Olympian swimmer Jessie Lacuna revealed that he started joining swimming competition since the age of 6 years old, he said that he sometimes win and then sometimes lose, but those bad moments of losing didn't stop him in pursuing his passion. In an interview with him, he told me that there are some records that he need to beat and he trains so hard with his coach because this year's competition is tough and it really needs a lot of hard work to take home the medal.

UAAP MVP volleyball player Alyssa Valdez shared how her sports spirit is into, whenever she is on court, her one goal is to win, but before that, she set her mind and self to be brave, strong and also have a heart. Because all of this are fueled with love, passion and strength thats why all of them are here to compete for our country.
The upcoming #DaretoDream video web series will be posted the same week of Aug 19-30, 2017, we are expecting to watch game highlights, athlete's back side story and winning moments of some athletes, the video web series will be hosted by popular volleyball player and TV personality Michelle Gumabao.
